Some people are born in the state of Yoga.
There are two kinds of people who can be in a state of Yoga by doing nothing. There are some people who are born in the state of Yoga. There is yet another kind, called bodiless, these are the ‘fallen gods or angels’. This sutra has so many interpretations by different people.
The one provided by my teacher Mekhala Desikachar is that there are two kinds of people who are born in the state of Yoga. They need no practice or discipline. Even though they are born with it, it is not guaranteed that they can keep and be in the state of Yoga. They can easily lose it too if they succumb to distractions. These are not ordinary people and hence should not be emulated.
